Bettis: 'Coming from a mixed and broken home, life wasn't so simple growing up.ÝMusic was my escape from the harsh realities of my life. I was inspired by the grand performances of major pop acts such as Michael Jackson and Madonna to soul-searching Stevie Wonder and Prince to rockin' bands such as Aerosmith and Journey, and never forgetting Marc Anthony or my Latin heritage. I have been influenced by a melting pot of sound and feeling, rhythm and times, percussion and mixtures of ethnicities as well as rhythmic flavors which sets my sound apart from others.ÝMy music has an alive approach and an energetic feel.ÝMy ballads come with a touch of innocence empowered by soft vocal runs and a sensitive and personal outlook that any audience can relate to.'
