Is there ANYTHING you can tell us about the new record? We've seen a date on the Yahoo Store site - is this true? Is there a photo session scheduled for the cover?

The new CD is set to be released on Tuesday, October 29. Many dates have been reported by the press in the last few months, but I have no idea where they pulled that information from. I do understand how everyone wants details, but please understand the nature of recording an album. The reason celebrities don't say much isn't even because there is some dark veil of secrecy.

It's just because the nature of the business is such that so very, very many things are changed before the album is actually finished, that it's just impractical to give any details before everything is totally done. Otherwise, people would get annoyed quickly because everything we'd have told you will change about a hundred times before the album is actually finished. You have no idea...it's quite a process.

Most of the details end up being switched around or pulled or changed in some way before going to market, and that involves everything from the title to lyrics to melodies to which songs are used to mixes to album covers...and the list goes on. So, you see, that is why you don't hear much of anything until everything is totally complete.
