Big Noise began working with
Freddy in 2006, and because of our initial efforts,
Freddy's CD 'Because of You: Freddy Cole Sings Tony Bennett'
was placed on the Official Ballot for the 2007 Grammy Awards
by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences for
Album of the Year, Record of the Year ('Getting Some Fun
Out of Life'), Best Jazz Vocal Album, and Best Long Form
Music Video for director Clay Walker's documentary 'The
Cole Nobody Knows.'
The CD: Classical
and jazz-trained vocalist/pianist Freddy Cole's latest release
'Freddy Cole Sings Mr. B' continues his family's rich musical
dynasty which includes his brother, icon Nat 'King' Cole
and Grammy Award-winning niece, Natalie. 'Freddy Cole Sings
Mr. B' is a true tribute to his friend Billy Eckstine, a
frequent guest in the Cole household in Chicago (Freddy
always talks of the important mentoring he received at the
hands of Billy). The CD is Freddy's best and most acclaimed
recording to date.
