Guitarist-singer-songwriter Jo Cuseo is a veteran of the L.A. music scene, having written and worked with Tom Deluca, Jan Buckingham, Mike Landau and music industry heavyweight Bob Summers (Les Paul/Mary Ford). In 2005, The Jo Cuseo Blues Project released an indie CD 'Burning Desire' which received favorable reviews across the board.

The band was featured artist on Saturday Morning Live on 95.9 FM (The Octopus) in Ventura, CA. Jo performs solo and with the band on a regular basis in Southern California, having opened for Berlin at the Canyon Club as well as other So-Cal dates at House of Blues and Hard Rock Cafe. Read more...

Jo's producer and collaborator Bob Summers, the brother of Mary Ford and brother-in-law of Les Paul, began his performing and recording career while still in his teens. Following the separation of Mary and Les, Bob took over as the guitarist for his sister as she continued her career as a singer. By the early '60s, he had become increasingly more involved in record production. Bob arranged, engineered, played all the instruments and sang background vocals on Terry Stafford's hit single 'Suspicion.'

By the late '60s, Bob and business partner Mike Curb (Curb Music) were producing soundtracks for American International Pictures. Bob had his own Top 40 record on MGM in 1971, 'When I'm Dead and Gone.' He continued his partnership with Mike Curb, becoming the musical director for the Mike Curb Congregation. He later opened his own studio as an independent producer, operating as Bob Summers Music. Bob has composed for countless TV shows and movies, such as the 'Grizzly Adams' TV Series, and 'Movie of the Week' specials on NBC.

The artists that Bob has worked with reads like Who's Who of legends in the music industry - Glen Campbell, Sammy Davis Jr., Don Costa, Bobby Caldwell, Jim Gordon, The Osmonds, and the list goes on. Bob also worked with members of The Wrecking Crew, the infamous group of Los Angeles studio musicians. Bob continues to produce jazz and pop recordings today.
