Kelli is an exciting young singer/songwriter/recording artist from St. Joseph, Missouri, near Kansas City.

Her soulful R&B singing style has entertained audiences from coast to coast for the last 5 years. Kelli is committed to her craft and has expanded her fan base by doing shows in New York City, Tampa, Detroit, and Columbus, as well as Kansas City. Kelli has shared the stage with some of the top entertainers in the industry today, including Usher, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Christina Milian, Tracy Lawrence, and musical legends The Whispers.

Kelli is excited to be opening a new life in her career by moving to New York City to further her music career and expand her fan base, but she hopes that her present fans continue to follow her. For Kelli, it's all about the music and she hopes her fans feel the same.

Few performers are as versatile as Kelli. Well-respected for her skills, Kelli can go effortlessly from singing R&B to blues and jazz to pop, and then sing gospel in church, all the while holding the attention of her audience in all these genres.

After 6 years in "the game," Kelli has shared the stage with such artists as Usher, Alicia Keys and John Legend, The Whispers, Christina Milian and Tracy Lawrence.

According to Kelli, "It's been a great journey. I've had a lot of wonderful opportunities that people who have been in the business longer than I have haven't had. But it doesn't happen by accident. It takes a lot of perseverance, determination and persistence, and a good team of people working with you to make it happen." It hasn't been an easy road for Kelli, but with her mom as her manager supporting her all the way, things are happening for her.

Kelli has been entertaining audiences in some fashion since she was 4 years old, performing in dance recitals, ice shows, competitive figure skating, choir concerts and school plays. "The first singing 'idols' I can remember emulating were Janet Jackson and Paula Abduhl when I was about 8 years old. As I got older, I was influenced by the music styles of Christina Aguilera and India Arie, as well as the old-school blues and jazz singers such as Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, and Eva Cassidy."

While Kelli enjoys singing many genres of music, her favorite is R&B. "Being white and singing R&B is a challenge because every time I step on the stage I have to prove myself, but I love a challenge," Kelli says. "Although my favorite type of music is R&B, I won't let people put me in a box. I keep my options open to perform types of music, especially blues and jazz."

"What I hope to give people is an alternative to what's out there. I just love to be creative. If only 10 people show up at my shows, then that's fine. It really is about expressing yourself."

In addition to her music, Kelli is very community minded. She has been a volunteer for Friends of the Animal Shelter in St. Joseph, volunteering at the animal shelter and finding homes for unwanted animals. She also lends her musical talents to helping others by singing at numerous benefits, including the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in St. Joseph, singing for the Kansas City Royals, and many other community events.
