Biography:

LaQuandra Leshay Seymore was born on March 28, 1992 to Leandra Seymore and Lamont Collins. Born in Norfolk, Virginia but raised since birth in Boston, Massachusetts, where mother and daughter resided with her Nana, Sandra Seymore and Aunt, Schlandra Seymore. As an only child, LaQuandra would always find ways to keep herself from being bored. So she would entertain herself in front of a mirror, and family members that would watch her do her thing over and over and over again. LaQuandra began singing at the age of 3 and became a member of the Combined Choir at Morning Star Baptist Church in Boston, MA.

LaQuandra is a young positive lady that wears many hats for her many talents she is a business owner, singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress. Her focus, passion, and drive are what make her talents limitless. Her musical sytle incorporates: soul, blues, jazz, R&B, pop and gospel.

She currently attends The Beacon Charter High school for the performing arts in Woonsocket Rhode Island. By the age of 14 LaQuandra has performed in many parts of the surrounding Boston area at small venues and churches to continue to perfect her passion for music. She has already performed at the world famous Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York three times, won the Back on Track Foundation competition, has had the lead role in The Morning Star Baptist church play, performed at Saint Johns Church for the MLK dinner, performed in a few school plays, community Outreach events, and a number of talent shows.

One of LaQuandra's main goals in her life is to become one of the greatest world performers as well as being a role model for other young women in the world who lack self confidence with who they are. She wants to be that face for them to know talent comes in all colors, shapes, and sizes. She also wants to send a message; "You never have to sell yourself short to be likable."

LaQuandra looks to the talents of Beyonce Knowles, Jennifer Hudson, Jennifer Holliday, Alicia Keys, Tamia, Gladys Night, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Yolanda Adams, CeCe Winans, Christina Aguilera, Fantasia, Paris Benet, Monique, Queen Latifa, and of course Ms. Oprah Winfrey.
