One look and listen at L*A*W (Lyrical Assault Weapon or Loving All Women) and you will see that he is most definitely not your average artist.

This singer/rapper/producer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist and Choreographer has earned him the nickname The Most Talented Kid in the Music Biz or as George Clinton calls him, "The Thugged-Out Version Of Prince," because of the fact that his many talents makes him a one-man tour-de-force in the studio and on the stage. More than just good looks, L*A*W carries the torch of diverse Hip-Hop, true musicianship, witty commercialism and 100% pure entertainment not seen in a long time. His ability to make Hip-Hop-R&B, Funk-Rock, Country & Pop-Jazz exist under one roof as well as the precise playing of seven instruments & the perfect balance of killer vocal prowess in addition to serious rhyme & dance skill is winning new fans by the day at Facebook, Twitter & My Space as well around the world. As he puts it, "Lyrical Assault Weapon is my hip-hop side and Loving All Women is my singing/musical side so either way you look at it, it all adds up to L*A*W. Some of my fans call me the male version of Lauryn Hill cause I'm picking up where she left off". Whether it's partying hard with songs like "With Your Heels On" , "Get Down", "Thick Girly Girls" "Walk The Train Car" or "Get Hollywood On Em", Tackling serious subjects like "StepDad" & "I Don't Wanna Be An American Idol" or seducing the ladies with songs like "Naturally Sexy," "The Description" & "Wishing You Were Here,, L*A*W gets the job done on any and every level.

Most fans know L*A*W as the lead singer of 420 Funk Mob which also features his mentor George Clinton. Millions have seen him on in his kangol glory singing behind british sensation Amy Winehouse in the now legendary David Letterman performance that changed the game for background singers. Then after hearing the demo version of L*A*W's album through word of mouth of her husband and management, they asked L*A*W to open up for one of her sold-out show in NYC in which he was the only unsigned act to do so. After his performance brought the house down with his 7 piece backing band The Funk Auxillary Unit, Amy asked him to join her on the 2007 MTV Movie Awards. This move led to L*A*W to expand his diversity into films and television in which 12 of his songs that he wrote or co-wrote became fixtures on popular shows like "The Bad Girls Club", "Making The Band", "Next' & more famously, "The Real World" in which his music was featured in the two consecutive seasons of Hollywood & L*A*W's hometown of Brooklyn. Lastly, his live version of the Prince classic "America" was handpicked personally by The Revolution's legendary keyboardist Dr Fink which helped in giving him one of the biggest buzzes the industry has seen in a long time.

L*A*W was born and raised up in the rough Crown Heights section of Brooklyn in the musically enriched household of the famous Taylor Family. His grandfather is Legendary Blues artist & Blues Hall of Fame Inductee Sam "Bluzman" Taylor, who is known for his songwriting and mentoring of 70s funk group B.T Express, Maxine Brown, and is an original member of Rock pioneers Joey Dee & The Starlighters while his other uncle is Gospel legend Professor Charles Taylor who recorded several albums for the Vee-Jay label in the 50's/60's and had a huge early influence on a young man that later became known to the world as Donny Hathaway. His late uncle Bobby Taylor was a 13-time winner at Apollo Theatre while his other Uncle Tony "T-Funk" Alston played a brief stint as a drummer for James Brown. "My family was my school for music on every level", says L*A*W. By age 12, he was already touring with his granddad as a back-up vocalist and rhythm guitarist, playing three different instruments (including drums, singing & directing the youth choir & band in his uncle's church) and by his late teens became a hot commodity on the rap battle scene in Brooklyn during the day and at night, he was with the most popular local band in NYC led by his uncle Tony called The Eturnity Band as a singer/rapper and chief choreographer in some of New York's hottest clubs doing major corporate events along the way.

L*A*W's music is what he calls Tha Planet 12 Sound, which is a combination of modern technology and live instrumentation. His hybrid of Hip-Hop/Funk-Rock/R&B with Pop-Techno inflections has earned him numerous production and writing spots with hot new artists like Karmela, Renee Marino, Sandrael & the 4 member self-contained unit L.T.F in which L*A*W is a part of. His mentor George Clinton summoned L*A*W to come and do production work for him upon hearing his now infamous demo which led to him becoming an official member of the P-Funk camp on various levels. L*A*W stays true to his roots while aiming for commercial success and has done this by opening up for the legendary artists that inspired him such as Rihanna, Lionel Richie, Eric Burdon, Rick James, Chaka Khan, Harry Connick Jr, Fishbone, Morris Day and The Time, James Ingram and Deniece Williams. His infectious blend and extreme stage presence captivates the audience and screams longevity. His mission is to bring all audiences together and simply change the game by letting real authentic meaningful music be his calling card the same way Outkast, Kid Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys and Lauryn Hill have done before him. With that, L*A*W is ready to conquer the music world and Billboard charts as well.
