Our group IDUS is comprised of Indo (Robert McGee), Michael Gaines, Amp Fidder, Bubz Fidder, Andre Foxxe, Michael Clip Payne, and Tracy Clinton. Our music is today's resuscitation of yesterday's funk with bangin' energy. We are bringing funk back to life. I got started writing music and songs at the age of 9 in my granny's record shop. At the ripe old age of 14 I met Andre Williams, George Clinton's sons Tracy and Daryl who wanted me to be a part of their band, Tre'Lude. Actually we wanted to be baby funk.

Andre Williams aka Andre Foxxe (former Tre'Lude) joined my band Danger'Field. We quickly wrote and produced "All She Wanted Was A Quickie" for George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic's album, 'Yah Should'na Bit Fish' on Westbound Records. My major music influences were George Clinton, Sly Stone, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Eddie Hazel, Bootsie Collins, and Don Davis.

Our music is not the norm because it has been and continues to be shaped by my world travels and what I hear musically. We are taking your Momma's funk to a whole new level.

Being on stage with some of my music idols like George Clinton performing with my band, Danger' Field when I was a young twenty-something, and later with Roger (Zapp Band) at the Frankfort Kentucky Coliseum, were memorable highlights in my career. Touring with Raphael Sadiqq and Amp Fiddler on the 'Ray-Ray' Album Tour in 2006 keeps the music pumping in my veins.

I want to share my love of pure Funk with this generation. I want to share our re-invention of Funk to a generation that has received only snippets and sampling of an era of heart thumpin' - foot stompin' - body pulsin' music madness. I want to help create this new era of Funk for today's generation.
