My name is Warren "Addis" Smith,
a native singer-songwriter born and raised in The United States Virgin Islands. I started my musical career on The Island of St. John performing thru out the Caribbean. Being a firm believer that I can be more, I joined My High school Steel Orchestra and there it all began.

After finding some success in the Virgin Islands, I moved to the mainland to take my career to the next level and beyond by joining The New Horizons Band / Hot Like Fire. As a solo artist, I shared the stage with major bands and artists like The Harlem Pop Ensemble, New York Multi Cultural Festival, The Mighty Sparrow, Berkley Music Ensemble, Mutabaruka, Jimmy Cliff, Burning Spear, Toots, Ziggy and Stephen Marley, Andrew Tosh, Black Uhuru, Junior Reed and many other artists throughout my career.

When not on stage performing, I am a Host / Co-Host for some of the area's biggest and greatest events: The Charlemont Reggae Festival, The Hartford Jerk Festival, The River Front Music Festival, and Stage Manager for The Ives Concert Park Westside Reggae Festival.

Still having the desire, ambition and need to reach higher, The Addis Revolution was formed in the spring of 2012. This band project was a result from acollaboration found on my third solo album 'No Compromise.' The album gained great reviews upon its release and also garnered three Grammy Award Ballot considerations during this time.

Addis Revolution's music is a blend of reggae and fusion. The band labels their style as a newer version of reggae fusion. My many years in this music industry, those experiences have helped me craft the band's musical direction.

In 2013, The Addis Revolution joined up with V3 Music Productions, which released with Addis Revolution's 'People of the World'" single. Its success helped The Addis Revolution gain an artist of the week spot in The Independent Music Show Magazine Issue 07 / March 2015. This single was also featured around the world with major plays in Jamaica and Canada. The follow-up single 'Beautiful Thing' was then released in late 2015.

In early 2016, The Addis Revolution signed with the award-winning music firm Big Noise. Big Noise is a music firm that helps artists advance in their career and development. They have worked with Christina Aguilera, The Beach Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chicago, Katharine McPhee, Dionne Warwick, plus many more major and independent artists, and now with The Addis Revolution.

The album entitled 'The Great Escape EP' was released nationally in January 2017. It features the 'People of the World' and 'Beautiful Thing' radio singles along with other new music from the band. With the help of Big Noise, this new album has helped The Addis Revolution garner three more Grammy Award Ballot considerations in these two categories: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Good Love" and "People of the World," and Best Pop Vocal Album for "The Great Escape EP."
